These are some interesting facts about human life and evolution and our mother earth.

1. Age of the Earth:- 4,600 million years.
2. Life started:- 2,000 million years.
3. Apes developed:- 25 million years ago.
4. From apes human-creatures evolved:-
    Ramapithecus: 14-10 million years ago.
    Australopithecus: 5 million years ago.
    Homo Erectus: 2 million years ago.
    Homo Sapiens(modern humans): 35,000 years ago.

When stone was widely used by early men, the age was known as Stone Age. It can be divided into following phases:-

A.   1. Paleolithic   Peoples moved from place to place in search of
       2. Mesolithic   food and shelter.
B.   1. Neolithic    Learnt to discover from nature how to cultivate grains,domesticated
                                          animals and developed tools for hunting. Later invented wheels.

Arabian Sea: Apara Samudra/Arab Sagar.
Bay of Bengal: Bangopa Sagar.
Indian Ocean: Bharat Mahasagar.
